Moulage
The course includes the acquisition of techniques for constructing a mannequin model.
With the help of data sheets, a basic knowledge of patternmaking and a great sensitivity to materials, the trainees will be introduced to the Art of Moulage.
Il Moulage allows you to create a garment directly on the mannequin through the use of a canvas, pins, pleats, draping, manual dexterity and lots of creativity.
Depending on the level of knowledge and specific interests of the students, our teacher is able to propose in-depth studies on individual techniques (e.g. draping, volume, etc.) and the styles of different couturiers (e.g. Madame Grés).

For students, pattern makers, tailors, professionals and graduates in fashion, art, design and for everyone who wants to learn the Art of Moulage used in Haute Couture for the realization of a three-dimensional prototype.

To learn and have mastery of such a particular technique that involves the immediate creation on the mannequin, on which style and wearability can be managed, shaping the garment that you will want to realize. You will be able to create the 3D “shell” and then sew the dress.

Patrizia Peccetti
She graduated from the institute “Carlo Secoli” in Milan. In the 70s she started her own business as a freelancer.
After a few interesting job experiences, she received the opportunity of a collaboration with Gianni Versace that has lasted many years.
Her career strengthened when she established her own company. It dealt with many passages of the production, from the runway to the cycle of clothes production.
For more than fifteen years she worked together with the Stylist Gianfranco Ferrè to make both runway clothing and custom-made clothing.
She is an “Excellent artisan” thanks to the high-quality level she has reached.
After around 40 years of career, in addition to his work as a consultant, he loves dedicating himself to teaching and transferring his experience to the new generations.
